The Water of Life...

A late afternoon learning-outing to Auchentoshan Distillery near Glasgow gave me my blip for the day - this is the man-door on their Spirit Still, very pretty, polished copper. I'd love to say I learned loads but they told us we could take as many photos as we liked, so I was too busy snapping away (as best you can with an iPhone) to be paying too much attention to the theory of whisky flavour formation... :-)

Kids have both got conjunctivitis though, so returned home to much screaming and a husband trying to wrestle eye-drops into two sets of eyes. Poor wee mites.
