The Final Straight...

Today was the first day of the last ever week of production at the distillery where I work, so the mood in the lab was quite melancholy. It's quite sad having to pack up all the bits and pieces (like this Galileo Thermometer) that have made the lab a comforting place to be over the last few years. I'm sure the mood will lighten at the end of the week with a celebratory/commemorative team night out!

Nice to come home to cuddles from my two kids, although both have been grumpy wee things since I got in! Let's hope they cheer up soon or they'll scare off propective babysitters, and we can't be having that!
