Drifters across the bay
Mrs Pepperpot arrived looking very sprightly despite her early flight and bearing wondrous gifts. After a few 'moments' discussing homework situations, we escaped to the Port and had a long, leisurely, fishy lunch. There was a fiesta on Playa D'en Repic and the music (apparently one of the Drifters) floated across to us, as yellow pine pollen washed up on the shore and a very warm grey air descended on the valley. Not unpleasant, but so different to the fresh air and blue skies we've been having. I was near enough to Mich's to buy a sporty looking stick to hobble around with.
Ben flopped inbetween me and Mum on the sofa later and requested a foot massage. When Mrs Pepperpot stopped for a moment, he had become so relaxed he quite forgot himself and said with an imperious tone "Come on Granny!" and then collapsed into fits of laughter at himself. His face was perfection, but I missed the moment with the camera. Still, it's in my head.
Children sleeping soundly, somehow, the three of us managed to eat a large piece of salmon (when she said she'd brought it in her bag I wasn't surprised at all. It was REALLY good) and a salad with no effort at all.
The last of the injections was received. Thank you Marisa again. I stayed up late to make sure it worked it's way in before I got gladly into bed for the first time for ages and slept for 6 hours. :)
