No more yellow
It's nearly all gone, just the other bits of faded and grubby 'sunshine' left on the entrance hall and gallery thingy walls. I'll soon get to paint some of it out, but someone with a head for heights and a big ladder is needed for the last bits. The boys are pleased with my efforts of the last three days, they want their room done next. We are three shades of coffee in the sitting room, and so much tidier. I have left a Mondrian type strip of yellow with their heights marked on over the years. Looks a bit daft and now I don't think they would have objected to it disappearing really. I'm obviously far more sentimental than I should be.
They'd already had paella aonce today, but Ben didn't seem to mind my version this evening when they returned. I'd got some beautiful tuna fillet, a bit of chicken, clams and some squid, so I made a Rach version of paella. I'd run out of saffron too and I really refuse to use the yellow colouring that a lot of families and restaurants still do. It doesn't look as pretty, but Ben enjoyed it anyway.
Yellow is definitely out this season.
