The reason for my sporadic blipping of late.......

On the 12th March myself and Angela got married at Traquair House in the Scottish Borders. It was a fabulous day and all the more intimate given that we kept it quiet and invited only close family.

In the bounds of the rules I had not taken a photo of myself and Angela so you will have to make do with a picture of our novelty Wedding cake which I took just after the formal cutting.

The cake was made by Pat McGowan of Art2eat in Stirling and, as usual, she did a fabulous job. The outfits on the figures are as myself and Angela were dressed on the day (apart from the walking boots and the should-have-gone-to-specsavers glasses that is!).

We enjoy hill-walking hence the rucksack, walking poles, map and walking boots. The signpost to Ullinish is where we were headed on our honeymoon. More back-blips to follow......
