Common teasels
In northeast Ohio, a mile or so from Lake Erie, spring is usually a little slow in arriving. Even though we had a few spring-like days this week, for the most part our temperature still ranges from cool to cold, and there are more cloudy days than sunny ones. Crocuses are blooming, but as of yet, there are no tulips or daffodils in bloom. So instead of blipping a lovely spring flower today, I searched out some leftovers from last summer. I like teasels, and, after all, they are wildflowers. Today I was experimenting with manual mode and manual focus. Some turned out, others didn't. I only kept four, but I liked these so I decided to make them my blip. The background for this picture is the tree line on top of the sledding hill, a fair distance from the teasels I was blipping.
Went to a friend's 50th birthday party this evening, did my therapy stuff as soon as I got home, and now I'm ready for bed. Hope all of you have had a good day today.
