Cabbage tree clouds

You just can't have too many cabbage tree shots as far as I'm concerned. I think they are utterly splendid and quite peculiar subjects...especially the cork-like bark which looks great in close ups. I even took some soft-focus cabbage tree shots, but don't know if the world is ready yet for soft-focus cabbage trees ;-)

Patched up the fence through which the bog escaped today. I could see him watching me do it. Probably planning his next move (like a scene from the "Great Escape"). Also tested our new iron...sadly the last one expired in spite of several attempts at resucitation: also Ms Diasporsa was getting tired of scaring her patients with rust-stained nurses tunics.
