Le Président

Tonight, we celebrated the fortieth anniversary of Le Cercle Français, or French Circle. It is an organization where students, professors and anyone interested in having a good time and celebrating the French culture can meet and share a nice evening together.

Dr. Jimmy Simmons, the president of Lamar University, was gracious enough to host the meeting at his house. He is a very accomplished musician and he allowed me to catch him in action.

It was truly a beautiful evening.
