Crescent Palm

The moon tonight was the tiniest little sliver; barely noticeable. When I got home, I stopped at the mailbox and this was the scene that greeted me. It looked much better in person, and the shot didn't quite turn out as strikingly as I had hoped; there was too much ambient light all around. But, I still think it made a lovely shot. Unfortunately, I couldn't zoom in on the moon and keep the wide-angle for the trees.
