Phew!!!!!

Had a problem with the Macbook last night when I logged in. Every time I tried to type something in the Safari address line, Safari quit.
Had an Apple support chat session this morning but that didn't cure it so have had 45 mins with a great guy from Portugal who worked through loads of pages of stuff, put lots of old files in the bin and removed nearly 18000 items.
Problem solved and the speed is back where it was when I got the computer!
Just time to send a blip before the big changeover.
