sunset

I was sat in my office , saw a nice sunset so got the key and popped up onto the roof to take this quick shot.

I have never thought of doing this before. Although there is little foreground of interest at least I got outside for a couple of minutes. It is a green roof covered in relatively unattractive vegetation, rain water is stored by the substrate and then taken up by the plants from where it is returned to the atmosphere through transpiration and evaporation. Well that's the theory anyway. There's also solar and photovoltaic panels up there.

I've just talked myself into more boring roof shots when there is little time for much else :)
