Christmas at Chatsworth
A lovely day at Chatsworth with nice lunch in the Stables Cavendish Rooms.
We were joined by little son and his girlfriend to see the gorgeous decorations in Chatsworth House, it really is a national jewel. This years theme was the magical land of Narnia following the tale of 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe'. After entering through the wardrobe the decorations were definitely magical and we thought it was one of the better themes (although our favourite is still the 12 nights of christmas some years ago.
Fortunately we used a corporate season ticket and fast tracked the 1.5 hour queue to pay !!
The blip is of The Great Dining Room, decked out for Christmas dinner (if you are a Duke or Duchess of course) the detail of the table is better LARGE
