Moorland winter sunrise.
Nearly didn't walk this morning when the rain was bouncing off the conservatory roof at 7.10 am!
Thankfully the start was postponed for half an hour and shortly after 8.00am the rain clouds were chased away to leave this criss crossed pink sky as we emerged from the woods to the edge of Harden Moor.
It made a nice change to get out onto the moors and we (four of us) kept stopping to take in the sight https://www.flickr.com/photos/16251802@N05/15405675764/in/dateposted-public/ as the sky colour changed and brightened.
As I write this the sky is turning pink again as the sun sets and it is not yet 4.00pm!
Soon be the shortest day!
