Blip??? Spotlight??? Who knows???

Last night Ann came home at midnight (from a fabulous Xmas party night - thanks 'St Ives Holidays'), switched on the laptop and had a notification that the ‘emergency’ blip (that she’d taken with her iphone) of me faffing about on the beach was on the ‘Spotlight’ page???

I know a lot of you Blippers get really excited when you’re on the spotlight page……………. But Ann really couldn’t care less whether we’re on the ‘spotlight’ page or not.

Our Blipblog is for me – ‘Molly the gorgeous collie’.

……………………..However………………………. in 2012 I featured on the ‘spotlight’ page practically every single day of the year. So much so, that Ann emailed ‘BLIP CENTRAL’ to ask what the criteria was for getting on there. They replied, saying it was like the Coca Cola recipe and was ‘top secret’!!!

These days I get onto Spotlight every now and again there’s a lot more Blippers than when we first started blipping but whatever the ‘spotlight criteria’ is; it’s obviously changed over the years?????

These days I think it has something to do with the number of ‘favourites’ that a BLIP gets?? ‘Untechie Ann’ has never really looked into all this favourites and star stuff. We just post a photo and write a bit of blurb and that’s it?????

Anyway (for probably the first time in her life) she looked at ‘my BLIP statistics’.

On my 4th year BLIP I got – 95 comments, 333 views, 153 stars & 6 favourites. And I don’t think I made it onto the ‘spotlight page’??? But I might have – I don’t always read my notifications!

Yesterday I got – 15 comments, 89 views, 15 stars & 2 favourites???? And I was on the ‘Spotlight Page’??????? It’s a mystery!!!

……………….And in other news……………… I had a lovely play this afternoon with Ozzy, my gorgeous golden retriever boyfriend. We went to Tehidy Woods and had a really good run about. Unfortunately the further into the woods we went, the muddier it became. Ann was OK because she had her wellies on. But Ozzy & I ended up with very muddy tummies and paws.

……………………………We didn’t get into trouble though because it wasn’t our fault!!

And Ozzy is going to come on my afternoon walks for the next few days. Yay!
