A weekend stroll.........or maybe a route march?!

I was just leaning on our balcony gazing out to sea, when I noticed this chap start to make the climb up towards me, on the scrub land besides our resort.

He climbed the steep hill, up past our balcony, which is on floor 5, and as you may recall from earlier blips, our resort is high up in the mountains to start with, in what seemed like no time at all, using just an old stick as an aid. He continued up past me, then past the higher blocks, all the way up to 9, and beyond, up to the road across the very top!

I guess this is a regular walk for him on the weekend!

I think I would have needed an oxygen tank at the ready by the time I'd got up there at such a speed....most impressive for man of several years, fit as a fiddle comes to mind :-)

The scrub land beside the resort is covered with cacti, succulents and lovely purple/beige grasses that glint in the sunlight!
