Pale blue colored eyes

Knowing me, you know that my life revolves around music of all sorts, and going to shows at least every (other) month. On Friday, i had the preasure of seeing one of my favorite singers at the Chameleon Club. His name is Ed Kowalcyzk, and in the 90's, he fronted the band Live. You may know them by their singles such as, I Alone, Lightening Crashes, All Over You, or Selling the Drama.
A few years ago, Ed quit live and began his solo tour. This year in particular is the 20th anniversary of Throwing Copper, their biggest and well known album. This show in particular was special because Lancaster is actually Ed's hometown!
So, to spare you the boring details, i waited in the arctic for 7 hours and made it to the front of the stage... Ive never been there before, so to see that there was no barricade was exciting. Like, i was literally on the stage. Ed played every song off of Throwing Copper, and then played a few songs from his solo career. I much prefer Live's material over his solo stuff, but either way, he owned it. I had a great time. After the show, i headed toward the merch table which was at the stupidest spot in the entire building.
isnt it funny? I always find something to complain about. Anyway, It was in the back of the building near the bar, so there were random people standing in the road just being ignorant. People were so packed in there that it was not only suffocating, but just aggrivating. people were shoving through tight spaces, and just standing there! I dont know about you, but when im looking to buy anything, im in and out. I dont just stand there being a pillar and annoyance. But as i was standing there, Ed came out and greeted everyone with autographs and pictures. I had him sign two of my setlists (that i grabbed before i left) and i took a selfie. He's such a great guy with a good spirit, and im glad i had the opportunity to see him.
