Progress

Back in April 2013 I blipped this site in the main street in Balfron.

I am happy to report that that eyesore has been replaced by this work in progress which, when completed, will apparently consist of two blocks of flats, with two shops on the ground floor of the front block.

Needless to say, it's impossible to please everybody and there are locals complaining about the style of the new buildings and the lack of parking, but there's no denying it'll be a huge improvement to the previous blight on the landscape.
