An old fashioned Christmas...
... Thursday's in December are late night shopping and despite the rain town was buzzing. There were stalls selling hot dogs and burgers, chestnuts roasting on an open brazier and mulled everything you could think of bubbling away. The markets were filled with stalls selling handicraft and all sorts of Christmas gifts, the Town Church choir were singing and they were offering mince pies and mulled wine. But the Salvation Army brass band paying carols caught my eye... Oh and the Town Chuct bells rang out and afterwards we made for the pub and a well deserved hot mulled cider
