IzzyP

Our first full day in Perth today. We finally arrived early hours of this morning. We managed to sleep from about 3:30am to about 9am. We have spent the day exploring Perth and have packed quite a bit in. We had a nice lunch in the city, we saw the new bell tower, we looked at the Supreme Court, admired the old and new architecture, took the bus, wondered round Kings Park and drew in all the eucalyptus smells.

This evening we met up with IzzyP (journal here). The wind was incredible and IzzyP thought it would be nice to go see all the windsurfers and it was! Amazing sport, but I think I would be too scared. There were so many surfers enjoying the water and I got lots of photos but for me I like this shot the best – this is IzzyP looking out to sea looking at the surfers. We then spent a lovely couple of hours chatting away, drinking wine and eating gorgeous fish and chips.
Thank you Isobel for such a lovely evening, we have thoroughly enjoyed it.

Blip is a amazing for bringing people together.
