Moving on.

This was the sky I saw as I opened the curtains this morning.

I had expected to see some snow after the forecasts yesterday and the hail and sleet we came home in last night from our festive gathering at Chaplins.

It was clear and sunny and as you can see the heavy cloud base was moving off and giving way to blue skies. It was so clearly defined I rushed for my camera.

After two nights out and one of broken sleep I decided to forgo this morning's slightly later walk for a bit more sleep. We had a wonderful night last night with ex work colleagues. Thank you as ever Wendy for organising it.
