Lighting up our morning walk!

Made it up for the early Thursday walk and as we walked down the road you could see hints of red in the still dark sky.

There were 5 regular walkers but we were joined by another friend who is newly retired. She enjoyed herself and may come back tomorrow with her dog!

As we progressed up the hill past Lady Blantyre's rock the sky was lightening and it became clear there was going to be a lovely sunrise. I took some through the trees across the golf course and when we reached the field where you can see right across to Bradford, all the cameras came out.

What a treat. This picture was taken near the end of the walk near the buildings by the golf club and car park it was just starting to rain at this point probably indicated by the darkness of the upper cloud. I went for this one as I liked the silhouettes of the chimney on the old buildings.
