Homeward Bound

Somewhere over California -- We took off from Papeete at one minute before midnight yesterday, and have just walked in the door of our Boston apartment now at 10:33 p.m. A very, very long day of flying!

I took this picture somewhere over California (I think). I liked how the patterns on the ground made me think of the fantastic tattoos so many of the Polynesian people sport. It was a nice way to think that even though our wonderful vacation is over, the memories will be there forever.

Happy to be home, but utterly whipped ... and so to bed.
