"When words fail, music speaks"

Had a very early and busy shift at work this morning! People are starting to do big food shops ready for Christmas!

However because of the early start my shift finished at 12pm! So I got to meet D in the city centre for lunch! We went to our favourite little Italian and then walked around town whilst he did a bit of Christmas shopping and I helped him. It was a great way to unwind and when we walked past a musical instrument shop we HAD to go in and have a strum on everything! :)

So I took a picture of this bad boy! When I have the space and money I would love to invest in and learn the cello! Mind you there are a lot of instruments I would like to learn...I can see my future house being full of dogs and musical instruments!

But for now I am happy with my ukulele :) my flat mate was out tonight so I have been able to play it for hours!

Now I'm going to settle down and watch the Royal Variety Performance with R in California via video call! The wonders of technology! :)
