Year 2, Day 325 - A Gerbera

A quick snap before I hit the sack!

I had my appointment at the hospital today about my knee. I was sent for X-rays first but they showed nothing. Then he had a look at my knee and concluded it was a torn cartilage - if he had seen me first he would have saved the NHS the cost of three X-rays!

Anyhoo, next step is an MRI to confirm the torn cartilage. There is a 4-5 week waiting list... Then I will be scheduled for the keyhole surgery... At least I am in the system!

He did ask me lots of questions about my knee, then out of the blue said "But it's getting better, correct?"

I just looked at him... "No, it's getting worse."

"Hmmm. Unusual."

Then started asking me about possible metal in my body for the MRI - I think I am more worried about the MRI than I am the knee op!!!

Re-arranged the living room tonight so I could put the tree up. Lights are on but it's waiting for Dale to hang the decorations!
