Dick Mack's
The forecast was for wind and rain and they were right! So a bimble around the lovely town of Dingle was called for but not before ED had run up a headland while I planned a trip to the promontory fort of Dunbeg. It might be the last chance to see this site as a large part of it fell in to the sea in the storms of last February and the site is now closed to the public, we hopped over the fence of course but those huge stone walls felt very venerable with the sea pounding below eroding the cliff face.
Dingle is a quaint mix of artisan food shops, craft and knitwear shops, cafes and numerous pubs, a few of which are very traditional with a bar but also selling all sorts of other bits and pieces.
Running late as usual and had to drive fast to the airport to drop off ED before heading to my course, all go!
