Lithops hookeri

I apologise for being repetitive, but it was miserable, damp and cold today, so I didn't manage to find anything inspiring out of doors. So this stone plant (Lithops hookeri), another new one that I bought early in the year, is today's model. It is growing in the conservatory with the others, and as you can see, it has two heads. Earlier this year, the plant's old bodies split (this is when the plant should not be watered) and dried up, and a new head emerged from each of the old ones. With a bit of luck, one of these might divide into two next year, so that I have a triple headed plant. I doubt that it is old enough to flower this year, but we'll see.
