The Cabin

We arrived at our cabin (also blipped a few days around Dec 30th), to stay a few days, just the four of us.
The cabin is a special place that has been in my husband's family for over 30 years. It is unique in that, the elevation is almost 6000 ft, there is an incredibly beautiful lake where you can fish in the summer, there are only 6 cabins on the lake, and in the wintertime, it cannot be reached by vehicle...you must snowmobile in.
So there we are in the parking lot, loading up in the snow...2 dogs, 2 kids, a bobsled loaded with all kinds of goodies, and my husband and I. At times, I can hear the circus music playing in my head...I know we must be a sight! The snowmobile ride into the cabin is 5 miles, and is always an adventure (especially considering balancing the two dogs...though now my 4 year old is old enough to hold onto one of them :)
