Well camoflauged
This is one of the new stone plants that I bought last year to replace some that died while we were away the previous winter. It is Lithops lesliei var venteri. There is a great place in Auckland, called Coromandel Cacti, that grows and sells succulents and cacti, which is where I bought this specimen.
When growing in the wild in South Africa, these plants are found in rocky and stony places, often with sand. So they tend to get entirely covered in blowing debris, and are hard to find.
