Two Extra Pints Please

Today we had a family gathering for my mother in laws birthday. Our son, our daughter and husband and baby Jessica went up to meet her and we went for a pub lunch in Piercebridge, Co Durham.

This afternoon we played a very silly game called Fluxx - it is very confusing, but quite a lot of fun. The rules are that the rules keep changing depending on the cards that are drawn. Probably best played when a few drinks have been consumed!

When I was taking our son home to south Leeds, I spotted this Christmas display at the Arla transport hub on Pontefract Road. Arla are a large dairy cooperative - I like their 'reindeer'!

The shining star in the firmanent appears to have slipped behind Santa's sleigh though.
