A few subscribers said they'd like a pic of us at the British Community's Christmas Ball at the Marriott Hotel, so here you go! The setting was beautiful; the dinner was a full Christmas fayre with all the trimmings; the company was good; there was music (to suit not everyone's taste!) and our carriage was called for quite a bit before the end time of 3.30am to carry us home to bed. Sorry this doesn't show the setting, but the official one we had taken when we arrived wasn't one worth sharing and so we asked a colleague to take this one at the dinner table.

It was all a bit tight getting there on time as Bb's hired outfit, which was meant to be delivered at 3pm, didn't arrive till after 4, which had a knock on affect on other things we'd planned to do in the afternoon. I was still having my nails done and Bb was buying shoes at 6.45 and the ball started at 7.30! The skin of our teeth!
