Edinburgh Day 6 - Hidden sculptures and Freezin'!

Apologies for this late blip. I spent Friday in heaven and the flights back are infrequent.

Yesterday was a really busy one. Seriously, I was a sociable person all day...

Anyway, in the afternoon whilst up at the Ocean Terminal, I was going to take a picture of a big boat and then I decided to see if I could find the Antony Gormley sculpture as I am hopeless at finding most things. I was successful! After I had taken about one hundred pictures - being a pessimist I always take an extra couple just in case - I went into OT, phoned mom and then went to Zizzi for a very early dinner. My haggis breakfast had been a few hours earlier and I knew I'd be short of time later.

I went home and had a quick rush about before being picked up from the opposite corner by Lesley and Eric to go up to Penicuik for the panto - Freezin'. The last time I had been to a panto was Dick Whittington when I was about seven in Birmingham starring a load of so called stars of the time and I remember being bored beyond belief even though that was millions of years ago.

This was completely different! From my perch where Lesley and Siobhan were controlling the lights and sound effects I could really appreciate the amount of hard work that went into everything. I was glad to be able to watch from the sidelines and see how much it all meant to everyone.

When the grumpy caretaker had finally got rid of us all, we went to a nearby pub to relax. I did think back to my many quiet trips to Edinburgh over the many years I have been visiting when I didn't talk to anyone all week! Not much chance of that since Blipfoto!

'Oh! So you're Roz!' was a phrase I heard a couple of times during the course of the evening. AAAARRRGGHHH!

Oh well. It was lovely to meet so many friendly, outgoing people but alarming too. Shocking!

Track? My favourite BBM song today - Waiting In The Wings
