Ammo

Today after gathering our wits in attempt of recovery from the sleepover full of 8 year olds, we decided to take a trip to the theater and see Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief. My oldest son had plowed through this whole series, after his interest was piqued when receiving the first book in his Easter basket last year. So he was the most excited to see it. My 11 year old and 4 year old loved it, but my 8 year old (well, not officially 8 until Tuesday) was a bit scared. During the movie, Landon said very loudly "Daddy, this movie is COOL!"

This picture I chose as the subject of the day is of our Nerf Gun 'ammo'. Liam received more Nerf guns yesterday for his BD. Any Nerf product seems to be at the top of my boys' BD lists each year...and Liam wasn't disappointed to get the newest ones as his gifts! These came with 70 BULLETS each. I find these little orange things in every inch of my house. They even migrate to my minivan and into the washing machine. Everywhere I look there's orange! And to think, before my first son was born I vowed to not let him own anything that resembled a gun. Oh well, live and learn and go with the flow (mommy likes to play with these Nerf guns now too).
