I had a super, smashin' day in Portsmouth today. I had a tiny look in a couple of shops in Gunwharf Quays... intending to do a bit of Christmas shopping, but then thought 'no, it's ages away, plenty of time yet!' and trotted off for a few miles on a long, bracing walk along the beach and prom to Eastney and back instead!

Running away from Christmas again! It was a very chilly, but the sun made a last minute appearance again (it seems to gather strength and appear, after hiding most of the day) and I was rewarded with a stunning sunset over the Isle of Wight in the distance (I must go over there on the hovercraft next time!)

Time for a naughty glass of wine now. Cheers and a happy weekend to you all!
