Japanese Maple Leaf in the Sunshine

The beautiful sunny day today gave me a chance to catch the bright sunlight shining through our new red leaved Japanese Maple that sits sheltered between the fence and the 15,000 litre water storage tank.

We see this tree from the Hall window and when the sun shines through the leaves it’s a beautiful spectacle. This shot with the water tank as a background makes it even more dramatic, I think.
