First sowings
Visually very dull I'm afraid, but the image is highly exciting for me in that underneath the fleece are some short rows of seeds I sowed today.
They probably won't all come up, but fingers crossed for at least some of lettuce, turnip, corn salad, carrot, leek, radish, parsley and something I don't remember buying called mibuna. Have just checked with the very reliable Joy Larkcom and it's a variety of Japanese green mustard-y sort of thing.
The broad beans D sowed before Christmas are just coming up and the garlic is looking quite lively. Hurray!
And when we first arrived at the allotments it was very nice to meet the fox who appears to have survived the harsh winter in very good condition.
