Costa del Mersey

A little colder today, but it got brighter as the day went on and I decided to head down to Otterspool Prom for the sunset at 4pm. One minute the low sun is too bright and the next it is below the horizon. I need a lesson. My compromise was to try to use a tree to shield the sun's rays. The Welsh hills can be seen across the river.

When the sun went down I looked for clouds in the sky, but it seemed to be clear. When I turned for home I saw that there was a glorious bank of pinkish clouds hanging over the Mersey to the South East.
