Mutant Four-legged Chicken Sunbathing
Sorry about this being a bit of a crap photo, but I, at least, find it amusing and I never got round to coming up with anything else later in the day. In my defence though, these chickens are a beggar to photograph. They stood happily in this shaft of sunlight (perhaps thinking that the mothership had finally come to pick them up) until I went for my camera and then they retreated into the coop, clucking in an 'evil laughter' kind of way - and then we went through the whole stupid charade for a second time. Anyway, the only I photo I ended up with where they were: a. outside, b.in the sunshine and c. not blurred, was this one where one of them is hiding behind the other. One is Mabel and the other is Harriet but if you want to know which is which you'll have to ask my wife or daughter - I just feed them and muck them out...
