Sunset Clouds

Went for a 7km run with the girls this morning. A beautiful misty start to the day, though very wet underfoot. Felt good to get out.

Home for a shower, followed by poached egg and smoked salmon on homemade sourdough toast - the perfect breakfast!

Off to Dunelm (curtain/chair browsing) and Tesco (food/gin shopping!) which Ted wasn't so keen on... A few tantrums and lots of running away from him parents (causing some panicky moments in both stores) meant quite a stressful trip.

Back home for a cheese-and-biscuits lunch, while Ted reverted to delightful-child-mode and played beautifully in the garden.

Daddy went off to church in the afternoon for our village Advent service. I was a bit jealous, but then I did get to go to the magnificent Cathedral 'Darkness to Light' procession last night, so couldn't be too envious.

Ted and I went for a walk around the village, Ted on his balance bike, and caught this stunning sunset scene while we were up at the playing field. I'd like to hope it presages an equally peaceful night, but as we've already had one dramatic falling-out-of-bed incident, and Ted is already in my bed with me, I suspect it'll be yet another unsettled one.
