Stopping for coffee

I woke up at 6 o'clock, took a shower and had breakfast with my mother. I wasn't in a hurry, but I wanted to be home well before the storm broke out, so I left Keflavík between 7 and 7:30. It was pitch dark and raining for the first 1,5 hours, and on Holtavörðuheiði (a highland road) the road was slippery but luckily it was not snowing or blowing. I stopped for a cup of coffee at Staðarskáli and two other places, as I was a bit tired and wanted to make sure I would stay awake during the drive. But the trip was uneventful and I made it home in ca. 6 hours. And as always, it was so good to be home :)
