Constitution Steps... well if you fancy climbing these for your morning constitutional then there is a similar flight just a few yards along the road that you can come down again. Or walk a few more yards at the top and you can come down the Arcade Steps, which have a wonderful view of the harbour and come out right in the heart of town. If you're not dead at the end you might be fit.

St Peter Port is built on a cliff so there are steps everywhere. Here I am standing with the markets behind me and these steps are a shortcut up to the streets above the town. Just over halfway up these steps (about as far as you can see here) is an hotel. I've always fancied staying there but then I do love steps. Not for the faint hearted I think.
