Splash of colour in the nettles

It's such a lovely morning that I thought I'd take a little stroll down the lanes. Many of the trees still have golden leaves clinging to them, but I wasn't expecting to see much more colour. However in one bank I spotted these autumn flowering crocuses popping their heads out amongst the nettles. So this one has become my photo for today.
