Poppy Leaves

There aren't many signs of life in my front garden at the moment (apart from the pyracantha berries I photographed the other day). However, I did notice evidence that next year's poppies are already in evidence with this lovely growth of new leaves. I particularly liked this variegated one and stood patiently waiting for the wind to drop so I could photograph it. In the end I just held my breath and hoped for the best!
