Designer Christmas Tree

Day 2 in Vienna and another full day. Morning highlight was the Spanish Riding School show -- bring on the dancing horses! However, photography was verboten and the few sneaky shots I managed to get weren't very good. Ann got a decent shot over on her journal.

We visited another couple of Christmas markets and got another set of punsch mugs shaped like boots. I got lots of market shots but as I did that yesterday I thought I'd look for something a little different to blip.

We discovered that three floors of the hotel were given over to a very swish designer shopping mall full of art and eye-wateringly expensive furniture. We bought, um, a postcard. Anyway, from the top floor you got a great view down onto the Christmas tree, and the fairy wings suspended above lined up just nicely to look like they were topping the tree.
