The greenhouses

I remember when these 4 adjacent houses were painted this rather unusual shade of green. They have become very grubby very quickly.
Today we went for the meal that we won in the quiz raffle a couple of weeks ago. The meal itself was quite good but the service was poor - food cold, not all served at the same time and a couple of the side dishes missing all together. I was designated to make a gentle complaint to the manager and I managed to get 4 complimentary coffees to round off the meal! Although we will continue to go to the quizzes there (and spend quite a lot on wine!) we probably wont eat there again.
