Origami

A wee search on Pinterest, a utube video and a bit of instruction and I've managed to construct an origami snowflake and I have a blip!

Tomorrow I'll have another go and be a bit more precise in my folds. Then I intend to use it on a Christmas cracker...

I was going to do a composite piccie for today. We took the boys to Smyths to check out lego possibilities for xmas and to get some ideas for grandparents. It was entertaining to say the least, A and I were commenting on the origins of the phrase "like a child in a toy shop". We used our phones to photograph the things they liked and it would have been a full 6x6 montage of images as I think they wanted most of the lego in the shop. After I got a wee trip round hobbycraft, and then we took the boys for a happy meal. It may not be a politically correct place to take them, but boy it's a cheap meal out for the four of us!
