Birthday Cake

Thomas had an early celebration of his birthday, which is not actually till next weekend, as his Irish grandparents were over this weekend. It was a small family occasion - the only other children there were his cousins Ella and Nathaniel. We got Thomas a wooden starter train set which he loved. He shouted with glee "More tracks, more tracks" and set about joining them all up. I can see he'll have hours of fun though it might get frustrating when James is big enough to take it apart as soon as he builds it, which is what 10 month old Nathaniel was busy doing today.

The blip is of Thomas about to blow out the candles on the cake I made him, watching by proud parents and 7 weeks old James.
