The Sands Of Time, Aylesford

Day 333 of 365. Between 1912 and 1940 the Aylesford Sand Company was run by someone with the utterly brilliant name of Silas Wagon! I'm unsure if this sign is from that time but it is now "lost" in a thicket of trees and scrub at the far end of The Friars (see my previous blips) right on the edge of the River Medway. This sign is a now in a rather parlous state but somehow hangs on for dear life, defying the sands of time.
