Ice Skating

There was a lot of open water on this pond but, for some reason, these Canada Geese seemed to prefer the ice. It looks like it is very thin and I was waiting for one of them to break through but they just skimmed along on top. There was a single Snow Goose among them but I didn't get a good shot of it. They are rare here so it was an exciting spotting for me. I'm going back tomorrow to see if it's still around or if there are more of them.
