Faith and Trust

Not much more to report on Dad since yesterday. Small improvements all round apart from his swollen calves, ankles and feet. The left leg is worse than the right. When we left him at twenty-past four this afternoon he still hadn't had the scan of his leg to check there's no DVT there. Still no word about when he will be transferred to the Royal Brompton either, so obviously no bed free for him yet. Dad is taking all the hold-ups and setbacks very patiently and philosophically. He has a very strong Christian faith, and has put his trust in God that the right things will happen at the right time for him. His hunch is that he will go to London on Sunday ready for the surgery on Monday. I do hope he's right.
