Vertical Lines

Quite a productive day - this morning I took in a picture to be framed, and some photos for printing. I was lured into an art gallery on the way and reserved a couple of paintings by a local artist, which should look nice in our front room. After lunch I did a bit more painting - I hope it looks ok as the light was none too good again today.
this is a park I had to pass close by on my way between shops, seen from the road, hence the railings.
Let's hope the weather brightens up soon. the hours of daylight are precious few, without the mist, although I have to admit to liking the muted colours and the skeleton trees of winter.
